Built to Move Advanced Air Mobility Forward
The National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence (NAAMCE) exists to solve one of the biggest challenges facing advanced air mobility innovators: access.
NAAMCE gives AAM companies the nation’s only integrated build–test–fly ecosystem with National Airspace access up to 18,000 feet, enabling faster testing, validation, certification, and commercialization, without unnecessary roadblocks.
Here, teams can build components, integrate systems, and conduct long-duration BVLOS operations in real-world conditions that reflect how aircraft are actually intended to operate.
With 30,000 square feet of collaboration space and 25,000 square feet of hangar space, NAAMCE provides the physical infrastructure and operational realism that most testing environments simply can’t offer.
More Than a Test Site, An Ecosystem
NAAMCE was created to eliminate the fragmentation that slows innovation.
Instead of stitching together multiple facilities, approvals, and partners, companies operating at NAAMCE gain access to a single, coordinated environment designed for speed, safety, and progress.
This ecosystem brings together:
Our role is to remove barriers, not create them, coordinating approvals, connecting the right partners, and helping companies focus on advancing their technology.
Why Ohio Matters
NAAMCE is centrally located in Ohio, a state with a deep aviation legacy and a uniquely aligned ecosystem supporting the future of flight.
With the infrastructure, talent, regulatory collaboration, and statewide partnerships already in place, Ohio enables advanced air mobility to move efficiently from concept to reality.
This integrated advantage, spanning government, industry, research, and workforce development, is not found anywhere else in the country.
A Growing Hub for the Future of Flight
NAAMCE is a growing national hub for innovators, engineers, researchers, and industry partners working together to accelerate the future of flight.
As the AAM industry evolves, NAAMCE continues to expand its capabilities, partnerships, and infrastructure, ensuring innovators have a place to move quickly, test safely, and lead confidently.
